The music change to the mountain scene after the body dropping is just perfection.

I wonder if Mel gets a little teary when he looks back and remembers how good looking he was and how he had the world at his feet , i mean he is still hugely rich but his looks have gone, wonder if that bothers him in his mind . In his day he could have had any woman

Increíble está escena. Como toda la película. Recomiendo verla con doblaje castellano (español de España) aún la mejora más.

He could have just jumped by himself. He didn't need to make the horse jump to its death.

The scene of Wallace running up the mountain with the upbeat bagpipe music playing as we see random old dudes talk about him feels like a perfect Super Bowl commercial 😂😂😂

When the horse trampled all those men down, Wallace could easily take the safe route out.

Perhaps there were more guards in Mornay's tower that weren't alerted of Wallace's presence. If he had chosen that route, they could have had potentially capture or kill him. Jumping from the balcony with his horse was a more trustworthy and faster path.

Had Gibson made some changes to the costumes to make them more historically accurate, such as having Scottish civilians and soldiers dressed identical to how the English dressed (instead of wearing a clothing style that wouldn't exist until the 16th century,) and shown Scotland to be less an isolated backwater and more relevant to the European continent (and strategically important to France,) Braveheart would've been an excellent movie. Yes, the man's a racist and an Anti-Semite and the Anglophobia in his movies is just the silly reaction of a man who's still comically bitter about the English Reformation, but he can make excellent movies when he gets out of his own way.

I’m from the highlands and it still pisses me off that they use Irish pipes throughout the film as “Scottish sounding music”.

Braveheart is one of Mel Gibson's best performances. Hands down! It's always going to be a legendary movie. I would put Braveheart in one off the top 10 for Mel Gibson's movies.

This is the equivalent of driving a car inside someone's home, taking it upstairs to his room and driving over him. Then full speeding through his balcony into the street below.
