🥰LOVE FAITH NO MORE! Huge fan since their inception. The Bay Area Rock Scene has so many awesome bands. Metallica. Journey. I sure miss the Stone … watching bands on their way up. And sneaking backstage at the Kabuki Theatre. The most fun was when Accept/ Judas Priest. and Slayer played. Drummer Dave Lombardi gave us passes after observing us attempting to “blend in”- lol…… …… but…what’s up with the interviewer??? 🙄…..cringe. The interviewer is so soft spoken and monotone - it’s as tho she’s on assignment from the local high school newspaper - with these dry toast questions that appeal to no known demographic…… 🙄 Then after another odd bout of silence….we get this gem randomly plucked out of the clear blue: “….sometimes the best things happen after a creative disagreement…” What?? 😲 It’s FNM for God Sakes! And I’m going to scream if I hear “influence” or “evolve” in one more question. Sigh.

I had a notification on my phone at 59:58 and it looked like Patton tries to brush it off and the timing was perfect, I didn't have any notifications before that wth😭

Hey look everybody, people in the audience jumping up and down and putting their hands up and losing their minds, enjoying the hell out of a concert, being in the moment and NOT holding their fuckin cell phones because all the memory they ever need will be in their heads. There should be a fuckin law.

I saw them twice on this tour. Tulsa and Dallas. Tulsa was a festival show like this. I remember Mike yelling “CORN DOGS!!!” While gesturing to the food vendors once between songs. Hahaha. Both fantastic sets.

Perspective: The year this interview took place, hair metal was still everywhere, retro music was starting to pick up. In the next year, Nirvana would release Nevermind and blow the hole in the music scene that would bring through bands like Soundgarden, Tool. Pearl Jam, NIN, and a ton of other awesome bands. The computers line? It took about 8 years, but Techno blew up with the Chemical Brothers, the Crystal Method and stuff like that. Tool, RATM and several other awesome band took clues from this album and evolved. Such a trip.
