you have a great ear for making the mixes sound better every time.

nice video!! the bass player is way more important than any of the boxes. though, you pointed out that the Radial has a kind of honky (P-bassy) character to it and now i can't stop hearing it!

Pretty sick. I have one from 1985 that is a beautiful instrument. One of my fav basses in my collection. Cheers from Nashville.

I have seen guitars from Temu for $89 on YT, but were terrible, you are much better off buying from Amazon as you can send the product back if you are not happy with it. I buy my budget guitars from thomann, the Harley Benton models, however, I buy enough products or a higher priced guitar to qualify for free shipping to the UK, this is not available when shipping to the US though, you can also buy B stock also, I have bought B stock guitars before and have not had any issues with them, I believe they were guitars that people just didn't like and sent them back and because they had been opened had to sold gaian as B stock, none of them had any faults or finish issues, in many cases the hardware is fine and the tuners stay in tune, I have changed parts on some of them though just because the new parts looked better.

Ibanez sat best in the mix of this particular song. But I think any bass with 2x dualcoil soapbars have the special sauce needed.

Cool video thanks. 5 string is good for those frustrated players who want to be lead guitarists and want people to hear them 😄. Or if you're a Peter Hook fan like me, then occasionally try 6-string. But really the bass is meant to play as a 4 string. PS: One of my fav parts of this video is the "Young Frankenstein" movie playing in the background 👍

I have Chinese-made guitars. I love them, especially the price point. However, what I do is replace their horrid stock strings with Rotosounds and if necessary, run the guitar to the local luthier for $75 worth of minor adjustments. At that point, I'm good to go, every time. Thanks for sharing.

Nice review. I skipped around, but didn't hear you mention one great feature (for me), that is the 20V USB C option. You can use this amp with PD Power Bank, anywhere! I bought one last summer, imported from Japan, as PJB hadn't released it in the US yet.

Really tough to tell the difference in slap tone in the mix. I had thought you left it on the Tone Hammer, and the first couple times you changed amps I didn't notice.

I play 5 and 6 string. Started with a standard 4 string. But 5-6 are my comfort zone. For my personal purposes, I dont need any more than that. Maybe one day I’ll get a 7 or 8 string, but highly unlikely. 5’s are my main drivers, used to be 6’s, but I found myself not using the high C as much as I thought I would. lol Currently I stick with my SR605E. I’ll probably get a BTB in a couple of years just to have one in the collection.

It's easier to get a good quality 4-string than a 5-string. Even an expensive 5-string, the B-string is a hit or miss. Yeah, I've tried 5-strings of Fender, it's trash.

Good recomendations....i have the USA version of the SD Compressor, same as yours, they printed the attack numbers wrong but it is better quality than the red band version, a couple of tiny round stickers to write 8ms - 23ms...NOT the 0 - 12ms as printed, great compression pedal...bought a Jaguar Player Series PJ Jaguar bass, ebony fretboard, really tight pocket, had to sheild & rewire, pot ,jack socket, Guyker brass 3 grove saddles & brass nut, new scratchplate fitted with Epic Custom Shop PJ quarter inch AlNiCo pickups & slugs,10k output...cost a few bucks but now plays great, the Guyker brass saddles somehow allow lower action, really good, True Tone dual mono jack socket, 2 of each + & - contacts giving 200% more contact, rewired & new pots fitted with a high quality Greasebucket tone control made from hifi grade polypropylene 5% caps & a 1% 4K7 resistor....my favourite bass...i have an Ibanez 600E which is great, passive with tone ,volume & blend pot still working in passive mode or active with a 3band eq with 3-way mid selector toggle switch....Nordstrand noiseless pickups, a blend of Precision & Jazz pickups i would say, twin linear coils under cover like a P pickup with twin polepieces offset at 45° instead of straight, fantastic tone & really nice bass...got from a good guy who done 1 gig & sold me it as he preffered another bass so i got in mint condition for a fair price,a good price...good bloke...i think you would like it Jayme....nice gear....
