I have A-T and am currently blessed to be 49 years old! Not an easy condition to cope with! Been through numerous treatments throughout the years, nothing has been remotely helpful, except to trust the Lord has a great plan in all of this!

Hey idk if you’re still on KZbin but I had a few questions being that there’s not a lot resources to connect with people who are older and lived with AT. I hope to hear from you. God bless

@@darrenorchyk242 wow you never know if people from a video of 4 years ago are still around you know. I’m glad to hear from you. I’ve been trying to do research/ resources of people who have been living with AT into their later years because everyone you see or hear of are kids. My son just turned 4 today and has been diagnosed with AT when he was about 18months and I’ve been struggling and not knowing will life be a struggle for him or even us knowing the things he loves and can do now he’ll never be able again. I’m sorry I’m rambling.

No worries about the rambling, just ask me your questions and I’ll try to answer the best that I can. 😊

@@darrenorchyk242 ok how was school? Let’s start with that. Our fear is school not being patient and being accessible for him to take advantage of his opportunities. He’s really smart but we understand there will be many challenges when it comes to writing and reading.

We just lost our daughter to a terrible hereditary ataxic disease. We really weren't prepared for her loss even though we knew that she was fighting this. God bless this family - all we can do is make the most of ever second.
