I’ve hunted this place for many years but never had a fox rund down here before. It’s a ditch made long time ago, not sure if they have filled it with rocks or of there is a cement tube or something in it. There are some cement tubes laying around over ground. The fox came out about 10 m behind my back, luckily it came my way. I was ready with the tumb on the safety and finger on the trigger, about as fast as I’m in bed 🤣

@@aardhond yes, she looks very promising 👌 Yesterday she tracked up a injured fox, a track that was 8-9 hours old. She worked the track for about 1.5 hours before she found it, then chased it for 2 only minutes before it went in a rocky den. She barked at the den for about 15 minutes before I arrived. Unfortunately, we didn't get the fox...

@@aardhond yes, but the terrier couldnt get to it or it was to narrow space under the rocks.

But in Norway the holes can be max 70 mm and the distance from the opening to the trap has to be min 300 mm. So if I remember correctly, the box is 70 cm long and a just a litle wider and higher than the trap.

@@Haldenhoundfoxterrier she was 12 and 8 months. She had a great life. Hunted all her life and was very good at it. No one owed her anything at that age, just respect.

11 years and 9 months. Caught 46 foxes with her and she chased countless foxes that we didn’t get. She was a very good hound.

Yeah, interesting to see the otters. The otter disapeared from these islands in the 1950-1960 but has returned now a few yeears ago. There is a big male that I recognize, it has a ring around hes neck. Its the one laying outside making the squeaks at the end of the film.

Hi, I have tried it a couple og times on the trap course but Im not a good trap shooter. This gun isnt a good gun for trap shooting with the short barrels. But love it for hunting especially for my kind of hunting on fox and other furry animals.
