hello Thorsen, I'm a huge Fox Terrier fan and I want to ask you why do you hold your Smooth Fox Terrier on a leash while the Hound is exploring? Is it because Fox Terrier are less disciplined for retrieving? I hope you will give me an answer :)

I only use the terrier under ground. Hes not good over ground and will only chase a fox a few minutes. He also chases everything he finds, but the hound only chases fox and hares 😊

Not with out a insulated dog house. I have them in a dog yard all year around. I have made a insulated house with a small heater/electriv oven inside. It usually doesnt get very cold here.

It's in the blood or not in my opinion. All dogs can be trained, but if its not in their instinct, they wont be good.
