If you're going to nitpick at someone, make sure you're not making errors that can be similarly pedantically picked apart. I will happily admit that as an American, I'm not _100%_ positive on their definition of "liberal", but from what I can tell it generally involves being somewhat on the left economically, and socially being of the opinion that discrimination and general dickitude aren't acceptable. I've been accused of being a "liberal" by American definitions enough times by whiny right wing twats that I felt qualified enough making my comment. I also highly doubt the term is taken from dorm rules about not leaving dirty laundry in the hallways, so unless you care to significantly elaborate on what the hell you even meant there, I'll reject your nonsensical definition.

Maybe it was a bit arrogant of me to assume the thread starter came to the same conclusions as me when watching that scene in the film when Peggs character was prompt in action, determined and pertinacious, he possessed in eminent degree many qualities lacking in the other Liberal officers. Digressing a little,over the last few years watching KZbin videos on American higher education I have come to think that the new definition of LIBERAL is “One who believes in freedom to speak as long as the one doing the speaking agrees with the liberal.”
