Amazing. Strange how many announcers seem surprised by Krissy's finishes despite the fact that she's developed a Jennifer-Simpson-like feel for how to position herself at the end of races.

Hassan did amazing but my question still is WHY PARKER VALBYS 5000m TIME IS BETTER
@robertdaniels302917 күн бұрын
Hassan is making herself tough mentally. This race looks easy but it is very hard to run at pace by yourself...

So amazing to see Val coming back from serious injury. Love her KZbin channel blogs too really cool to watch.

Good to see her in this race ... This course is not a fast course and feels polluted and crowd was inexistent ... Avoid going here if you want a PR
@pukulu21 күн бұрын
Sifan Hassan could have run much faster. She's run 14:13 before in this race. She was not challenged at all and so loafed around the track a bit.

Wow. 25 years old and runs 1:59.9, good job Phoebe Gill, 17 years & 2 weeks old, ran 800m in 1:57.8 last week in the UK. The fastest by a 17 year old for more than 40 years, only one 19 year old (Keely Hodgekinson) has run faster in the country, ever. I wish Shukla all the best but really, how come there are so many people who live North of the Panama canal with the modesty and humble mindset of Noah Lyles?

He ran 8:15.08. he missed the standard by .08 secs.
@5704nwredhawln21 күн бұрын
@@scottvanmatre2507 I thought 8:15 anything made the Olympic standard. So close. He should be able to shave a one tenth of a second off by the August if he makes the Olympic team. Less than 1/10th of a second.

The commentators are pretty amateur if they are unfamiliar with Hassan's well-known pacing strategy where she likes to start in the back.
