Happy to have you here and welcome 😉. I´ve played some kill team matches and I understand the issue with terrain storage. I am lucky to be able to store a lot but it has its limits. These would indeed not take much room ,so I would say go for it and happy crafting hehe. Thanks for watching 🙏

@@alrethianscraftsbattles I mean I do own a decent sized house and have a room that doubles as an office and Mancave but even still storing 1'x1' tiles is easier than storing a full size board.

@@evileyeball I know what you mean. Due to building a lot of terrain over the years, and i even got rid of a lot, storage is an issue and I found no matter the size of the hobby space, it is never big enough haha, so tiles is definitely a great way to go 👍

@@stephengilbert8166 That's very kind of you my friend, but I don´t speak german. I dont own many codexes anymore, I got rid of all of them except for the CSM and SM. I just play 40k with friends and with the rules we still have hehe. But mostly I play OPR, in my opinion way better then 40k especially lately. 😉.

No problem my friend. I just made a sweeping assumption that you m-i-g-h-t possibily be able to understand it and figured if so, better to hand it on to someone who would get more out of it than me. No I don`t use any of the GW stuff anymore (I just like to read the fluff and get ideas). Like you, I much prefer other systems.. and OPR rules are excellent (much better in my honest opinion).

@@kingreem1741 Of course, sure, there are a couple of pre made options like chaos and renegade teams existing already. But there is no reason why you couldn´t create a team with any type of races you want. Although Orcs and dwarves I don´t see them teaming up anytime soon hehe..but you can play whatever you like...and as long as you and your friends agree on the teams, why not 😉👍

oh this couldn`t have come at a better time for me. I already decided I would subscribe to the new Combat Patrol magazine because the idea of 9 small factions to add to my games was simply too enticing an offer to let slip by. Silly really, because I already have soooo many Necromunda/40k and Horus Heresy miniatures... but the idea of adding new sci-fi models in an ongoing subscription for the next year and a half (effectively inspiring me to play an overarching and long term skirmish campaign) fills me with a ton of enthusiasm. I will flesh out this collection with a pile of home made terrain as well... I already have a lot, but hey, we can never have too much terrain for our games can we? Your video series strikes j-u-s-t the right tone and gives me even MORE motivation to do something along the same lines (I`ve already written up practically an entire novelette of background material and photos for it already). This may even get me back once again into starting up my old website for it all :-) I can`t wait to watch your series unfold... Band of Brothers, Zombies, Plague Marines... heck, whats not to LOVE.

It´s always a joy to create stories and watch them unfold on the tabletop. You can never have enough miniatures haha and combat patrol sounds like a good subscription to have. I should check it out.
