Excellent info. I was surprised to learn that your cellar temps get up to 15-20 C. I just assumed your ground temps would be similar to temperate climates, but now that you said that it makes sense. You get a lot more heat and sun throughout the year so you must have a higher long-run ambient temperature.

maybe Galvanized iron columns and bars can be a compatible item. I know it's not carbon footprint free but it has a longer life span and for ages. GI can be used as pillar and Main beams at every four feet height of walls maybe we can use glass fibres and a conventional method used in Awadh area where they use a rod of iron (open) between walls in front of each other and folded and pressed through a "Tva" (डाट की छत बोलते जिसको परम्परागत रूप से) to avoide bending of walls. I feel GI pillers and beams for tensile strength, using glass fibre at every four feet of wall, using iron rod pressed between walls just one or two feet below the roof level and also using GI fibre in flouring could be a solution to the compatible material problem.

The concrete beam is structurally required for the vault to work. Also it is not true that it is built without steel, you can see it on the plan at 4:55 and you can see rebar sticking out of the beam. The roof will stand up as long as the rebar in the concrete beam won’t rust. That’s why the dome doesn’t have a longer lifespan than a standard reinforced concrete ceiling. The lifespan of the ceiling is the biggest factor in sustainability, if it was really built without steel the brick vault would have the potential to stand for a thousand years, but not when it’s built like shown in the video. There are ways to solve this problem
