I watch your videos closely.Thanks for the pleasant way you teach . I grow veggies,haldi, corn on my 1.5 acres farm in Mullanpur (new Chandigarh) just 700metres from the Chandigarh boundary on the PGI road . I am facing a serious problem of how to broadcast small seeds like sarson, chia, alalfa, clover, molokhia (jute for saag) into a mulched kiari. I adopted a no till method by mowing the weeds in the moist kiari to ground level, left the roots in the ground, spread the seeds on the ground and mulched the kiari with cut grass and leaves. I hardly got any germination. Even chukandar seeds planted into the bare soil after removing the specic portion of the mulch did not result in germination. Should I go back to tilling the soil, pull up the roots and then sow the seeds? If so, at what stage should I mulch the kiari? Lakhinder Bir Singh
