What makes a really good driver in those technical routes is a good spotter. And a driver who will put his faith in that spotter even when he thinks he’s telling him wrong. Hope to make it to Expo this week but if not I’ll definitely be at the BROG flea market and hope to see you there. P.S. New guide is hilarious!

One tip for rigging your frame to the boat, You want the camstraps to be able to be tightened while you’re sitting in the boat. One option is to girth hitch your cam strap around your frame and run the cam buckle under, and through the d-ring. Then run the tail through the cam buckle. Doing this allows you to tighten straps from your seated position rather than having to get out of rowing position or even out of the boat to tighten the frame to the boat. Straps will loosen and stretch when they get wet so this is important especially in whitewater environments

We got the G900 but was a little disappointed that you can’t pan the camera up and down like on other models. As a result, we had to mount the camera in an angled position. I do like that you can access all of your recorded files on the unit’s screen though
