I went on the msc lirica out of Ancona Italy, I had a great time and the staff was awesome! But the food was probably the worst I’ve ever had On a cruise lol. I’ve been out carnival Norwegian Royal Caribbean and princess. The food wasn’t nasty just mediocre but the pizza was great

Traveling sucks altogether. Not because of this nonsense "anxiety" I just hate other cultures, and different languages. I dont need to go somewhere when I can look at online, I also cannot stand the heat at all. I get depressed when it's hot and humid. My favorite is chilling at home watching movies and gaming.

@Loudx24 I know I am, our parents would always make up travel every year when we were kids, I hated so much. Hating other cultures has nothing to do with being an introvert. India was the worst place I've ever been to in my life. It was disgusting, I.lost alot of weight. The smells of the people, places and food were enough to make me sick.

I agree that the shows were second rate. I did Rotterdam July 2024, and the shows were ok; but, not as good as on Carnival or MSC. Also, the LED screens I guess are the future because they don't take up space; but I didn't ilke the LED screens at all.

There are upgrades you can pay for, but for Umbrellas, we found a spot with one on the beach next to the dock at no charge. We were lucky… but if you leave the ship early, you’ll have a shot at finding a spot with umbrellas or shade. Thanks for watching and hope this helped :)

Great video. Please tell me this. I have knee issues and going up and down stairs is a problem with me. Does this resort have facilities in place (elevators, ramps, golf carts etc) to help me get everywhere I might want to go? (ie: from room to restaurants, beach, pool etc..) Thanks so much, Steve S.

It is a large property, and to help mobility they do have shuttles that pick people up and drop off at various place in the resort. From the rooms I was near, it was stair access with ground floor units as well, but unsure if that is for all the buildings. Hope that helps!

Very helpful video! I’ve been on the MSC Meraviglia, so some of the cons seem valid across their fleet. MSC is such a beautiful cruise experience and I’ll be on the Seaside in a couple of months. I’m excited for the water cannon in the jungle area

Great review. Music trivia sounds awesome. Can i ask if you have to pay for room service? RCCL have introduced a charge for room service since we last sailed with them. Mind you its been a while. Do you know price for a beer approximately by any chance. Trying to work out whether to get drinks package or not. Thanks heaps. Caz

Thank you for watching! When we sailed earlier this year, there was no additional charge for room service. For Beer, I believe it was between $8-$11 based on the type of beer you were looking for. If you plan on having more than 5 drinks per day, the Have-it-All package may be worth it for you --- we posted a video on the HAL Rotterdam Drink Packages a few weeks ago you may find helpful. You guys’ miss the whole idea of cruising. Cruising is not about the entertainment or the WiFi package. It is the ultimate relaxing trip. Holland America Cruise is one of the last cruise companies (next to Cunard) that keeps to this idea (thank goodness). Cruising is about getting away from the usual hustle and bushel and just total relaxing. Real cruising is like after breakfast, you go to the promenade deck with your favorite book, grab a deck chair and watch the waves go buy. If you have some good entertainment at night consider yourself lucky. If you want great entertainment or line dancing cruise on over to Royal Caribbean or Carnival.
