We will be taking this ship for the Dave Koz jazz cruise in June. Will be going to Rotterdam, Norway, and Iceland and based on what you are saying, it sounds like heaven.

Agree with you 100% HLC lack of entertainment and hot tub is the smallest I had ever been into.

I'll be going solo to Rotterdam. Think I'll be able to find some people to talk to or eat with? I'm 71 and this is my 1st solo trip ever.

Hi Becky, thanks for watching and commenting! You should be able to find people to connect with - they had activities built for solo travellers to meet each other on our ship. Plus, there is a great communication system within the Navigator App. Enjoy your solo cruise!!!

I agree that the shows were second rate. I did Rotterdam July 2024, and the shows were ok; but, not as good as on Carnival or MSC. Also, the LED screens I guess are the future because they don't take up space; but I didn't ilke the LED screens at all.

You guys’ miss the whole idea of cruising. Cruising is not about the entertainment or the WiFi package. It is the ultimate relaxing trip. Holland America Cruise is one of the last cruise companies (next to Cunard) that keeps to this idea (thank goodness). Cruising is about getting away from the usual hustle and bushel and just total relaxing. Real cruising is like after breakfast, you go to the promenade deck with your favorite book, grab a deck chair and watch the waves go buy. If you have some good entertainment at night consider yourself lucky. If you want great entertainment or line dancing cruise on over to Royal Caribbean or Carnival.
