Epic- thank you so much!!! This is gold. Have you tried the Greenstuff World rivet roller tool? Frankly, your solution seems hard to improve, but curious if you'd given it a shot

Valbjorn is for long now the one that personnified Space Wolves miniatures at the highest level. Every figure comes with his background emphasized by his beard, his haircut and his accessories.

Love this tutorial. I'm watching in hopes of putting some much needed beards on space dwarves. Also, as a werewolf-bearded fellow, I appreciate the nod to the higher cheek lines of we hirsute folks.

I just want to say thank you, I play space wolves and have been working with green stuff (unsuccessfully) for a while and I almost gave up on it. After watching this I think I'll give it another go ❤

I bought some green stuff recently and its so incredibly crap quality, the yellow has a band of already cured all over it which creates chunks unless you fully strip it out. Goes together really thick even with WAY more yellow, disgusting. Green Stuff World green stuff big avoid from me dog.

God i'm glad I came across this, the 2:1 ratio looks a million times easier to work with than just 1:1! have you sculpted fire?

Mate your attitude resonates a lot with me. A lot of people focus on nailing the process as a set of rigid instructions where one looks for precision. But for me it has always been about the flow, the inspiration, the improvisation. I feel this a lot while sculpting as opposed to painting with acrylics, probably because the latter dry so fast that you need to envision everything beforehand. It's bringing me towards oil paints, where the flow looks very similar to sculpting. You draft it, mix it, subtract, add, subtract, and you can go on for a day..

apologies for the late reply but I really appreciate your comment. For me, it's about feeling that flow! I hope this finds you well and you're journey with putty has been a good one

you have no authority on that subject american. And there is no such name a s Bjorn. there are only Björn. And one more reason i think you know about as much about MY norse herritage not viking (as that word ONLY means raider in norse) as the typical american is the name you have chosen for the Channel. Dude you named your channel Whale Bear if you had Spelled Björn Correctly.

Wonderful stuff. Gonna give this a go on some recon marines, as well as some brass rod spears! Thanks for showing the whole process, especially the troubleshooting; knowing what to do when things inevitably go awry is so important when getting started, and seeing that even the masters have to futz with it helps keep morale through the learning process.

I cracked open an old water filter, it's full of charcoal and these little silica beads of various sizes. Few mins of sorting them with tweezers and youll have a ton of 0.5mm to 1mm rivets. Apply them as this excellent tutorial indicates.
