Edmund, your work as a media professional is often underappreciated. Your highly philosophical approach, the depth in your speech, and the thought-provoking questions you ask set you apart. You inspire meaningful dialogue, yet your efforts don’t always receive the recognition they truly deserve. On the topic of God being a thinker, I completely agree. Prayer should indeed be seen as a form of deep thinking or reflection, connecting us to divine wisdom. Dr Amadi's perspective resonates profoundly with this idea.

As a Medical student, I began to see God different when I read anatomy, Physiology and clinical biochemistry many years ago. The human body is a completely a new world which only those privileged to be medical Doctors know how this world operates. The more I studied the more I appreciated GOD BECAUSE THE ORDER ENVIVO IS MASSIVE AND COULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED WITHOUT AN UNSEEN GOD.

Contemporary Nigeria has proved itself vastly unworthy of the sacrifices and legacies of both Obafemi Awolowo and Nnamdi Azikiwe. Maybe there remains hope that the Ghanaians will carry on the legacies of Nkrumah.

Everything this man had said in this interview in a simple sentence is that the igbos have not done anything wrong in the history of Nigeria, I find that so hard to believe and this character is common among the igbos. If Gowon and Buhari knew about the coup that made them the head of state as he had claim in this interview, then why denying Ironsi not knowing about the 1966 coup? Whether you like it or not, Nnadi Kanu is the root of all the insecurity in the south east, but the Igbos will never agree. Why do you want the government to release a man who has committed so many crimes against Nigeria, he ordered the death of so many Nigerian soldiers, ordering his followers to burn down police stations and Lagos airport, the videos are online but this man keep running away from the question when the interviewer asked, he just keep saying the government should free Nnadi. I’m not saying every other tribe has been perfect in the past, but the Igbos need to stop defending their obvious wrongs. You can not tell the story of Nigeria in a way that a certain tribe had not done anything wrong! God bless Nigeria 🇳🇬

Feudal system or Feudalism has truly destroyed , bastardised, impoverished & crippled northern Nigeria..., a proxy constantly & consistently used by the northern elites & political class to keep " status quo" unchanged to enhance the total control & manipulation of the talakawas depriving them of qualitative education, access to health & good life 🧬... ( Bringing religion ☯️ inn brainwashing them ) . While their ( elites & politicians) kids will school 🏫🎒 abroad & later come to continue using the kids of those their parents once 🔂 used , controlled & dumped .

So, according to Baba Obasanjo, the Nigerian state was not captured when he was picked up from the prison and imposed on Nigerians as president.

Obasanjo was far better than the rulers who came after him, you can't compare him to tinumbu, Obasanjo wasn't at least a tribal bigot, he chose the best of technocrats from every part of Nigeria to participate in his government and eventually handed Nigeria over to someone who would have been an excellent leader for Nigeria but for death .

@@ifeanyianumiri744 I am not saying that Baba Obasanjo is not a relatively better evil among the evils that have gotten the opportunity to rule in Nigeria. But despite all the technocrats in his cabinet and the excessive crude oil money he had at his disposal, he did not add any important infrastructure like electricity, refinery etc to the system, he only succeeded in selling Nigerian assets. Even though Baba Obasanjo is a better evil or the best among the evil rulers, I find it difficult to see any effort by his government to address most of the things he requests to be fixed today. "He who comes to equity must come with clean hands" shikenan!

I am eighty years old, and an eye witness to Nigeria Independence in 1960 a year I finished Primary School and subsequently events that led to January 15th 1966. My point to the moderator is, there was no mentioned to free Awolowo in the plan of January 15th military Majors/Captain that truncated the Balewa and Akintola regime in the Western Region. Many people’s has been saying many things that contrary to the root cause of the coup.

Let’s be honest here. Even remotely acknowledging that the coup was an Igbo coup will put a dent in the Biafran cause. These men will never ever admit. They know the implications of admitting. No matter how much this history is twisted, sparing the lives of eastern Igbo leaders was a terrible mistake. There’s just no way around this.
