That’s awesome. I wonder how many liters of air space the ported design uses for the underhung driver. It’s gotta be over 80 liters.

In a larger rectangular living room set up would one ten sub in front and one in the rear sound better ? Should one sub be set to zero and the other 180 on the toggle switches on the back of fhe subs ?

You can place one speaker in a corner on the floor and walk around the room to see where the most balanced listening position is for low frequency's. Then position your speakers around that. Generally you don't want speakers placed at equal distances from the 2 walls that make the corner. Remember, your sound system is made of 3 important parts; You, Speakers and Room, they all need to be considered to optimise performance. The hight is just as important, if you have hight adjustable stands you can play with that.

Bold choice…. The outfit, not the speaker placement.

Dies that depend if it's ported or not or front or rear ported? My klipsch R800F Speakers right now is in the left and right corner.. but on 1 wall on the left is mini hall that leads to my 2 rooms and bathroom. The opposite wall is a "opening" to the dining room and kitchen and off to my right there basically a wall that's a big window so should I put the 2 left n right speakers beside the tv ?

The recommendation to move the loudspeaker out of the corner to improve imaging applies to both rear ported and front ported speakers. If you would like specific placement recommendations for your particular room and application, please contact our CS team and provide some pics and a layout and we can give you detailed guidance. I just installed these on my 20 year old 15” Definitive Technology Sub. I have a single family home and live alone so it was not about keeping the noise down. The feet allow me to play the sub Louder without energizing the floor and the wall behind the sub. I get deeper, cleaner sounding bass. Well worth the $50.00

If I understand it correctly even if you try to align them with dsp you can align them at the first impulse but after that its up and down for both randomly so good luck.

Man I've been running my 5.1.2 setup with all speakers set to small and 80hz crossover. I just changed my front speakers to large, and it sounds 10x better. The bass is so much more instrumental and hits so much smoother. Front speakers are JBL 4311s. They go down to 45hz no problemo. What was I thinking. Now my extra bass remote button toggles my sub on or off instead of on and really on. Another plus to running your speakers as large (even if just in front).

My Pioneer AVR volume set to 0.0dB(83dB/-83dB), the MCAA calibration has my center and fronts set to large, and surrounds to small. Crossover is 100Hz, speaker levels averaged between 1-3 dB. I assume the volume is relative, 0.0dB being reference was the best starting point. Sound has clarity, punch and the sub is getting work. Pioneer Double Bass is on for more bass to the sub. I switch the center and fronts ato small and didn't like the results. So I'll stick with the MCAA results.
