Their M.O. has been to downstream technology to their lower end products, I imagine they'd upstream these into the larger subs. Spec sheet needs to be updated to list Spouse approved 😁👍

What a timing I was looking for another subwoofer for my home theater set up but one that is for small room. And I was always interested in trying out svs products for the first time. May I ask will this sub give out a earthquake shake in my bed room or not ?

It certainly has amazing output relative to the size and will energize a small-medium sized space. If you want the greatest possible room-shaking output, we'd recommend a ported subwoofer, like the PB-1000 Pro.

questions: if you have two of these, will the subwoofer require the real time changes at the same time? Adding a normal remote would be nice so i would not have to have a phone present just to change volume or basic functions. The parametric eq, does it have many bands and what's the lowest frequency you can set? The plate amp seem to emit electrical noise as states in one review, is that normal variation in the amp or is a defective amp? Does the phone wireless function emit signal when not in use but subwoofer playing music? What wireless standard is implemented, wifi, bluetooth or something else?

The Drivers are connected mechanically and electrically in parallel so the output will always align. Parametric EQ has 3 bands. Lowest frequency is 20Hz. Not defective, may have been groundloop or other feedback. We're looking into it. Bluetooth is used for control app and is always operable as long as you're in range. Thanks for the questions!

Got mine today. Replaced a svs sb 1000 with it to minimize the footprint. So far I haven't been able tune it properly. The settings using the app aren't the easiest to understand. It really needs a straight forward and simple crossover setting but I can't seem to find that. I thought I would really like having the remote phone app but now that I have it, I'd actually prefer regular old knobs on the back of the sub for freq crossover and volume rather than the clumsy app. The sound is higher pitched and just doesn't sound natural compared to the sb 1000. I'm not sure where they get the "deep room energizing" from cause paired with my Cambridge audio cxa81 and paradigm prestige 15bs, it sucks.

First company and one of the only companies to have a customer Bill of Rights into support it and enforce it capitalism is a perfect is far from perfect but it's hard to find an ethical company and SVS will stand by their customer Bill of Rights they give it to you right then and there on their website and they hold to it I promise you I owned one I had to sell one because I couldn't make rent regardless I traded from an SP1000 to SP2000 using their customer Bill of Rights while I could afford it I remember there was a meta filter article in the early 2000s about this company and their customer bill of rights and that's what got me interested and the fact that they manufacture some of the best subwoofers that have ever been made they've backed it up so I just hope they don't go public and sell out to shareholders I don't think they will but don't you go doing that.
