The action on Kilgens was always very slow on those I played decades ago. This one appears to be in far better shape. It's a lot of organ for its number if ranks.

I greatly appreciate Olivier as a repertoire organist, I still am not sure however what to think of him as an improviser ... His style reminds me a bit too much of his immediate predecessor Pierre Cochereau, who was just a bit too fond of building up to the full organ in a not particularly subtle way ...

I played this piece for John once in London and he corrected me , kindly, and i became far greater because of his advice., a great man, lost too soon.

John''s ornamentations are "perfection" as is this (late) great mans playing....in general !

I am very old, and an organist of the old European School. I herd Walter Kraft play this.& these two are in a class of their own. Bach would approve....entirely.

He plays better than Dumler. That is extraordinary. This Michael is a the ruler. He dances on those pedals. He also feels them. That is brilliant but watch the piston work (I would look at toe studs before fingers.). Wow.
