My issue was the tape would start jamming as the roll was almost finished. Pushing up the metal plate near the brushes fixed it as shown in the video.

I'm having issues with the crimper. Tape jams with crimper but without it works just fine. Anyone know how to resolve this? I've cleaned every part very well including the crimper.

Did anyone ever repair the PCB for the short tape issue? I eliminated all possible mechanical reasons and the tape-length sensor. It only leaves me with PCB as a possible cause. And since they cost almost half the price of a used machine I am not inclined to ask my management to buy new PCBs.

Good video thanks. Soo I have a question. Someone at work asked me to have a look at a few of these. Both beep when the power switch is toggled, but that's all they do. 1 of them heats up. I did find 2 fuses both are good. The only buttons that seem to illicit a response are the plus and minus buttons. Hmmm....any ideas on why it won't start? Or respond to the buttons?

I have a faulty heater, when I have replaced the heater it still fails to function. Are there any other components associated with the heater? Will replacing the motherboard fix this issue?

We love the Better Pack 555 E machines 😄 but one of the machines, beeps after each cut? (like it runs out - but is is a full roll) any trouble shooting ideas? We checked/ tape/ water/ brush insert...Thank you from Australia

I don't understand why you would put the old blade cutter back if you are replacing the yoke cutter entirely.

My machine at work has a tape jam every time the tape roll gets around a half inch left. I see no logical explanation for that as to "cleaning" the machine. Any ideas?

same problem.. if by "half inch left" you mean approximately 1-2" diameter of roll left on the tape.

For anyone that might see this; I had the same problem, and it turned out to be a combination of the shears being really dull and the spring in the front the pulls down the upper shear to cut the tape not having enough tension strength. I fixed it by putting in a new shear set and putting some rubber tube on each hook on the spring to stretch the spring a little more. A new spring might have also fixed it or maybe putting zip ties on the spring to compress some of it while it is stretched to create more tension.

I have an issue where the tape is not coming out of the machine, it does not jam... it just feeds right into the water tub instantly soaking the tape. Any ideas on how to fix?

There is a front metal bracket (visible when you raise the heater) that may have been bent too far down. This would make the tape hit the brushes and curl inward towards the water.

Hello, I can tell you a problem that it seems unresolvable, until you change the PCB, at the left side, underneath the buttons. In short, the problem is that the dispenser machine, when you press a button (15 for example, or whatever) the machine doesn't stop to dispense tape, and the only thing that i can do to stop it, is turn off the power. Suffice it to say that the only way i've found to resolve this kind of problem is to replace the control board, as before mentioned. Do you have any ideas? Thanks in advance

i've just seen the other video refering at some electrical problems, that the machine may have. Probably, the issue, is cause by the encoder at the side, that dosen't "read" the properly lenght. Tomorrow, i'll check it out hoping to resolve it.

I’m not getting the right side length I adjusted the screw on the back. Still having this issue

@@Tran5002 There is some variation each time you dispense, but only about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch. The length cannot be adjusted using the screw. (The screw only fine tunes the cutting quality).

This company has amazing customer service and are experts on their products!! It’s wonderful to have someone you can actually call and who promptly gets products shipped to you. I had a strange issues with one or two tape machine I use, wasn't able to find the specific model on the manufacturer website and have not seen it discussed anywhere else. The Auto button feeds the incorrect tape length and using manual buttons the machine dispenses the wrong tape length (10cm) too short for every tape length. If I want 35cm I have to press 45cm, If I want 55cm I have to select 65cm. Guessing this is a feed wheel problem.
