नमस्कार भरतजी, तुम्ही माझं युट्युब पेज आवर्जून पाहता आणि तुम्हाला स्वतः संपर्क साधावासा वाटला हे पाहूनच खूप छान वाटलं. गेल्या काही ४-५ वर्षात युट्युब पूर्वी कधीच नं ऐकलेली रिकॉर्डिंग यायला लागली आणि माझ्याकडे असलेली काही मी इथं उपलब्ध करावीत अशी अनेकांनी विनंती केली म्हणून खरं तर हा छोटा उपक्रम सुरू केला. आपण उपस्थित राहून किंवा इतरांनी उपलब्ध करून दिलेल्या रिकॉर्डिंग ऐकून घेतलेला आनंद आणखी लोकांपर्यंत पोचावा हा एकमेव हेतू आहे. पण तुम्ही अभिप्राय दिल्यामुळे तोच हेतू सफल होत नाही हे लक्षात आलं. त्यामुळे मालिनी ताईंची दोन्ही रिकॉर्डिंग मी लवकरच काढतो.

​@@bharatkamat5112 नमस्कार भरतजी, होय! कलाकारची परवानगी हा महत्त्वाचाच मुद्दा आहे. आणि म्हणूनच मालिनी ताई सोडून इतर सर्व रिकॉर्डिंग कलाकारांच्या निधनानंतरच टाकत आहोत याचं भान ठेऊन ती युट्युबवर टाकली. शिवाय त्यातून कुठला आर्थिक लाभ, किंवा त्या कलाकाराची इमेज खराब करणं असा हेतू असण्याचा प्रश्नच येत नाही. स्वतः शास्त्रीय संगीताचा विद्यार्थी आणि एका कलाकाराचा नातू असल्यामुळे या सगळ्या दिग्ग्ज कलावंतांप्रती मनात केवळ आदरच आहे. तरीसुद्धा प्रत्येक वीडियोखाली ते मी स्पष्ट करत आलो आहे. थोडी गडबड सुरू असल्यामुळे मालिनी ताईंचे वीडियो लगेचच काढता आले नाहीत. येत्या एक-दोन दिवसात ते काढतो.

Dear Mahendra ji, I tried to look up more about the adaptation of Raag Vachaspati in the system of North Indian classical music and found out that the presented upload is indeed Ustad Amir Khansaheb's interpretation of Raag Vachaspati. Along with Rishabh, Khansaheb also avoids Dhaivat in the Avaroh, making it all the more difficult to classify it as "Raag Vachaspati", as the field of musicology has studied it. This is Amirkhani kauns. Its same as vachaspati the only difference is that it omits rishab in both aroh and avroh and has a pentatonic structure. Vachaspati has rishab in avroh. It was created by ustad ji himself like some other raags chandramadhu, maru kalyan etc.
