In case you are wondering where this is, its filmed in Auckland New Zealand, I think it was 1985 at a long gone venue called Mainstreet. The bass guitarist is Neil Edwards, someone will know the drummer. he did three or four songs, Back in the NIght was awesome. Stevie Ray Vaughan appeared this night also, which was an unexpected appearance. , it was an amazing night.

I saw them twice with this line up - 2nd time supporting the Stones at The Hammersmith Odeon. This was just before punk. They called it Pub Rock. It was just before punk broke but you could feel a change was coming.....

I’ve heard so many bands during interviews say DRFG inspired them to have a go. They were one of the only bands playing pure R&B at that time.

Biggest regret? Me, aged 15, saying to one of my sisters "Nah, you're alright" when she offered to go see Dr Feelgood wih me at Lewisham Odeon in 1976. I declined her offer cos....she was too old to go out with. I was 15, she was.....23!!!! Oh, the fickleness of youth! I was besotted by Lee too❤ Hindsight is a wonderful thing people. Still love watching the old stuff. Nothing beats a live gig in a sweaty ol' London Pub. Back in the days when we all smoked and could get pi$$Ed on a fiver!! Me and my ol' man love reminiscing about all the brilliant Bands we saw back in the 70s.

Been listening to this for decades (and probably pub band covers too) and just realised now how incredibly slick this is. Confident and well rehearsed musicians.

I'm a drummer and I love The Big Figure and this whole band, but holy shit if Wilko didn't always steal the show. Guy's a mad lad! Great stage presence. The whole band kicked ass though. I love these bands that kept it real and didn't mold into the "punk" scene, which, if you ask me was one of the biggest groups of posers to have ever walked the planet.

Man, if you can manage to get into the pocket that TBF sits in, well you're one hell of a drummer, he is tight as it gets. Him & Sparko hold the roof up.

Немного монотонно, но зато драйв и какой то шаманский транс, наступающий при прослушивании. Для того времени минимум оригинально, и сейчас смотрится неплохо.
