My 11 th birthday my older cousin took me to a Johnny winter back in 71 since then ive seen him around 40 times met him 3 times and never thought he had such a big following it touches my heart

I swear at one point it reminded me so much of the zeppelin song over the hills and far away that i thought they were going to break into it!! Then he played as fast as Eddie van halen did on eruption so these guys are phenomenal! Period!!

There's no Chuck Leavell here! This is the five-man band before Leavell joined. Berry Oakley is here, and he died soon after Leavell joined the band. This was in California 1972, and Johnny had done a demo of Wasted Words with the Brothers there that same year.
