So, I come up to step 12, I already have the app installed on my phone, but then if I try connecting, it's suddenly now "Easy Connect" and can't pair the watch with the phone and the activity log suddenly says "WearOS Watch Doesn't have Companion installed!"

I just wanted to thank you. I had a Samsung phone which was a horrible experience and when it was time to get a new phone I got a Motorola Razr 2024. I lost the ability to do pretty much all of the health functions and I came across a link to your website in a Reddit post. I am now able to do more with my watch then I could when I had an actual Samsung phone since I am in the United states. Thank you so much for doing this! It did take me 3 hours to go through and do all the mods and pause and play the video and as I said with my phone I'm never going to buy another Samsung phone. I'm also never going to buy another Samsung watch. It's ridiculous that you pay $300 for a watch and you can't access many of the features if you don't have a Samsung phone unless you spend 3 hours following your tutorial. I hope you have a happy 2025.

Got it working using your apk version and for finding a port after rebooting phone and watch (for some reason it stopped after searching to port 20000, while the watch was consistently giving different port numbers above 33000, every time I enables wireless connection). All works a treat now - OnePlus Nord 2T with galaxy watch 7. Thanks again!

Great job! It works perfectly on my GW6 which came with Middle Eastern countries! For some reason after a couple of weeks the watch lost all of its data and I had to do a complete reinstall. So my question is: if I do a backup using switch would it reinstall your health monitor mod? Thanks in advance .

I don't wear my Galaxy Watch 4 very often because the battery life is terrible. I had gone through what I remembered being a simpler way to add BP capabilities to my watch a couple years ago, but I decided to try again. I kept getting stuck with a message in the SHM watch mod saying to run an ADB command to override a battery setting. The watch app said I could use the companion to send the command, but I couldn't find any reference on how to do that. I finally found instructions to download a tool to Windows and use PowerShell to pair the watch with my computer for wireless debugging, and then run the command from Powershell. It took me about 2 hours to successfully implement all the steps in this video because of that requirement for the battery configuration.

At the start my bluetooth connection was corrupted and couldnt to open apps via my phone like blood preasure etc. I had to restart my watch and connect again via bluetooth and everything worked. Thanks a lot. Motorola edge 40 neo here

Any idea if this will work with an S9 running android 10 and trying to pair with a galaxy watch ultra? Its not rooted nor can I root since its a U.S. phone but the ultra requires an android 11 device and prefer to keep using my S9.
