Kya faida…..all these indian colleges are a product of impractical, ratta baazi, British given education system for producing slave mindset people, who can’t think of creativity except climbing ladders to achieve some place, by defeating their counterparts by scoring better percentage to stay ahead in the race. What did these colleges gave us, only an ego to differentiate themselves and their product from rest. No research, no actual innovation, no scientific achievement, everything is borrowed from the west. Macaulay education is what we Indians are still producing our product, meanwhile they Westerns are playing on a different level. I can challenge any engineer or physicist from Indian education system will have loopholes in his wisdom of their relevant field of expertise. You are not wise, u r trained…thats all you have been doing since school days.

ID ke liye tumhe apne institute mein jo bhi csir fellowship ka manage kar raha hai usko approach krna hoga. Academic office jaake puchh sakte ho. He/she will ask for some documents wo tumhe unko send karne honge.

I've been recently upgraded to SRF in New FMS portal but in CSIR AMS portal my position is still showing JRF due to which I'm not able to give my attendance, anyone any idea about this issue ?

This process actually takes around 2 3 weeks to complete. For example, if you upload your jrf conversation forms on 1st October, you should expect it to appear online on 21st october or later. You can try calling csir regularly and asking the status. Nothing else can be done but wait.

@@amansrivastava6086 I've uploaded my documents in NEW FMS portal long back and recently I've been upgraded to SRF, which is visible in the NEW FMS portal as my designation has been changed to SRF from JRF and I even got my SRF award letter, but there's a separate website for csir fellows where we submit our montly attendance, after submission of monthly attendance only we get our fellowship this portal is called CSIR AMS portal, my designation has not changed in AMS portal due to which I'm unable to give my monthly attendance. Any idea about this?

Please call csir on this number +911125841592 And tell them that you have obtained the srf conversion letter. They will then request you to email them on their email id (which i cant recall) and after sending them this letter, it will take couple of more days to update it on fellowams portal.

Yes, but be very careful in checking the eligibility criterias for different masters colleges. Generally in iitjam, most (all) IITs will accept you based on your merit score.

@@Animeabhay-tw9fc technically you can join direct phd after btech in many research places but that is competitive. If you plan to do masters, then doing btech will be harm to your cv a bit, as an extra year will be spent in btech (4 years). So ideally, if you really really want to do research in Astrophysics, then btech will tske your extra year, as well as subjects are different than Physics so you'll need to read Physics too. But if there is no option, then go for btech, take as my courses of Astrophysics you can take, approach any good Astrophysics professor and start working with her/him by 2nd year end or so. An engineer with knowledge of Theoretical Physics is a full package if you look at the good side :) But again, it's easier said than done. All the very best :)

Yes you can get into most of the IITs (the brochure also says that btech grads are allowed for msc). You can get into jest participating research institutes based on your jest score. Not all colleges might be taking based on jest. Keep an eye on that.

Many institutes allot after 1 year, I am not aware about how to avail csir fellowship there because you need supervisor details along with thesis tentative title and small write up.
