Thank you for this. My 09 f150 is rated at 2700 lbs payload. But 1600, for a small truck is phenomenal. I definitely think its time to drop the F150 and go for something smaller like the maverick. Not too excited about the engine options.

My 23' Crew cab STX 4x4 goes consistent 13.9's with an occasional 13.8x at 100Mph. bone stock. Hits the speed limiter before the 1/4. Its crazy how good these trucks run from factory.

Just found your channel and watching vids...considering IHC 3/5 performance suspension so it was good to hear it does well. Not familiar w/ factory tune and have heard you say it hit the limiter...is it a temperature initiated limit??? From dyno vid didn't sound like a RPM limit. Also hear you say 7th gear is the weak point in trans. How many gears to you hit in the 1/8th and 1/4? Do you leave in 2ed? Is there a particular range for the launch you want to be in? New to you channel but also new to the Ford F-150 XL. I thought I would keep my front bumper black until I saw yours...super sharp. I'm going back to your channel, I know there is at least one more vid to watch of this truck and maybe more. I have the same truck and looking to get the same look. Did you have to add a spacer? Custom shop in my town says with stock wheels you'll need a maximum of 11.5 inch wide tires.
