Great question! Where you place the tag depends on the platform itself. Things like ClickFunnels, Thrivecart, etc. have a specific place for tracking tags. What platform is your funnel hosted on?

Inside your settings on System io, you will have a section to add code specifically. It's the "Edit header code" box of the tracking section. For Pinterest, you will want to add the entire base code in the header so that it tracks on all pages of your site, and then to track specific things like add to carts and checkouts, you will add the event code to the specific page individually. You're so welcome! Since I made this video, Pinterest now classifies pins together in one category, however the one that has really stood out for me lately, is the video pin. Try using more video pins in your strategy and see what happens! One of mine had 28k impressions in just 2 days😐 I don't normally see impressions like that unless I'm running ads! Good luck!

Great question! My follower growth has always been slowwww on Pinterest. The videos I've pinned in the last few weeks all have at least a few outbound clicks (the ones with the high impressions from this video), BUT the good news is that the growth will continue to compound over time. And likely, in a few months time, the clicks will increase. This happened recently with a video I saved about 5 months ago. Hope that answers your question! Keep going:)

@@ericamuddiman maybe it's an industry thing. I've been posting videos since April - some have between 3-4k lifetime impressions and NONE of them have outbound clicks. I do have a lot of direct traffic, so maybe people are just finding us online and searching for the mural on our website. I'll keep testing. I love your videos - thanks for all your helpful tips!

Hey! I took a quick look at your profile and videos and I think I see a potential issue. A lot (not all) of your videos are directing traffic to KZbin rather than your claimed website. About a year ago, Pinterest stopped prioritizing content that leads to other platforms👎🏻 You used to have the ability to claim your Etsy, KZbin and Instagram but they also took away those options - I suppose because they don't want to send traffic to competitors. What I do for my KZbin videos is create a blog post with the video embedded and direct my Pinterest traffic to my blog, my actual claimed website. I see you already have a blog which is great! I would test out directing your videos there and see what happens!

Hi Jamie! I'm so glad this video helped! For entrepreneurship and mindset, I think mostly text based images (telling the pinner exactly what they'll learn if clicked on) will work best. I would also test out some stock images for the background, and potentially stock images with people in them that might be relevant to your topic for that pin. Hope that helps!

Great question! If you're starting out and completely brand new, I would start with a consideration campaign to build up traffic and domain authority for your website. With the product store also being new, Pinterest would like to see at least 50 sales/checkouts in a 7 day period BEFORE you launch a Pinterest conversion campaign. This helps Pinterest know where to find your people in the algorithm. On average, it can take anywhere from 2-4 weeks for a new conversion campaign to get going - up to 6 for it to be fully optimized. It's a longer runway on Pinterest, but once you invest the time upfront, the dividends pay of big in the end! Also, gardening is a great niche for Pinterest! Good luck!

On Pinterest is VERY key and note there are KW software that will check Pinterest Etsy and eBay and Amazon plus google showing the answers via individual platforms. You really want to use the platform or software that via and API will get that information per the platform. ChatGPT may or may not get relevant info but maybe provide kw by way of an old snap shot which probably is shut off. No matter what you are doing experiment experiment experiment test test test. She left out one more way which has to do with generating advertising ads it will ask for keywords BUT it includes Volume levels of people searching USING specific KW

That's a really great question! And yes, if you make that board secret, it unfortunately will affect your overall numbers. If the board is no longer aligned with your business, you could do a few things. First, take a look at what pin from that board is bringing you the most traffic. After that, try saving it do a different board to leave the pin active and searchable. If the board as a whole is bringing a lot of traffic, you could "rebrand" the board so to speak. Leave the maternity pins, but rename the board and give the board a new description. That way, you're not losing all of the engagement on the pins that are there currently, but you can save new, more aligned pins there moving forward. It may be a little muddy until the algorithm figures out the new content on the board. It's not a perfect solution but one that will allow you to keep some of that traffic!
