Hey Doc G, great to see you again, I'm an old guy,72, but my talents as a guitar player don't even come close to your's LoL, I have a bet with a friend that you will know what I'm talking about, professor Farley's string sudzer,it an old product I used to use on my strings and I wish I could still get it but can you settle the bet, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about, great jam's man you still Rock
@groovydjs3 күн бұрын
Howdy. Thank you very much! I remember Farley's. I used to use it. Then, along came "Fast Fret" after that. Finally, Elixir strings came out and that put an end to all of the cleaners. So...you win the bet! lol Here is an old listing for Farley's: reverb.com/item/64990606-prof-farley-s-original-string-sudzer They charge a FORTUNE for old, used bottles of it.

It looks to me like I'm gonna have to design a good quality 12 string electric bridge with independently adjustable saddles. Because you make a real good point. Each individual string should have saddle adjustability on any electric.

I'm gonna follow your channel just for the fact that you tell people where they can go. Lol. The only thing you didn't give was directions on how to get there. Been playing guitar for a lot of years, both six string and 12 string acoustic. You offer some good tips.

@@groovydjs We're talking about MAPLE necks, right? What's the most glorious thing that comes from maple trees? That's right, MAPLE SYRUP! It's nature's perfect conditioner. Hi Scott, Do you ever use your sub groups for vocals, instruments drums etc.?
@groovydjs11 күн бұрын
I personally don't use the sub groups at all and the reason is that, other than vocals, some instruments are direct via direct boxes and some are mics and the direct line levels go up and come down quicker than the mics do. The same for drums that are partially acoustic and some electric. So, that's my personal preference.
