@@groovydjs Scott, So glad you are alive and still kicking. In your videos at home, you just touch the strings and music comes out. You know some theory and ear training. ( unlike a lot of electric guitarists). Glad to see you are still playing live in April 24 ! Keep on playing. When you do a little tutorial at home, I can tell you timing is different, that of a giging guitarist. 👍
@groovydjs8 ай бұрын
@@JohnDoe-jc3cl Yeah, when playing at home, I hear a full band in my head and play and teach accordingly. I sometimes forget that some folks like to actually play ON the beat. lol
@JohnDoe-jc3cl8 ай бұрын
@@groovydjs the attack, your picking timing is really what I noticed. Years of playing ( especially with a drummer). Quartz timing, if you will. Rock steady. The inertia. When delivering a melody, on your videos. Kudos to you Scott. Keep on keeping on. You’re a musician playing music on KZbin. Not a KZbinr making videos with a guitar in his hand. You’ve encouraged me Scott

It is a rare thing to see shows like this these days. I guess I should frequent VFW’s and AMVETS more often. My word, this is nostalgic. The songs, the lights, the showmanship, etc…Just pure fun, good tunes, good folks and good times. It reminds me of better days. I enjoyed it, Dr Groovy. Blessings to you buddy.

I spent 20 years in bars.. I used to drink a lot I don't think if I went there I would be sober so the thing I used to like to do the most I don't do anymore unless it's outside like the Rochester Lilac Festival that was so cool.. and they let you film.. one time I got to meet Molly Hatchet before that one guy died.. I got to see them at Batavia Downs where I live.. I'm not a lot of cool people doing films.... well there's a couple videos of Eddie Money on my channel his family enjoyed them are they put an ad on it I wouldn't care as long as they get the money.. nobody was down by Eddie Money because he was selling T-shirts for the veterans and I couldn't afford to buy one.. so I walked down there..... I said hello I shook his hand and I gave him a picture of Rochester cuz he has relatives there I said well have a good day I didn't even ask for a picture he was really cool I think he was a tiny wasted that day.. when we saw Molly Hatchet out in the woods in a place called Leroy New York that was the coolest ever.. and my boys were camping with me.. they don't have concerts at the ridge anymore but it was cool.. I wonder if they would have screwed with you if you put the whole song.. I wish I would have been there I would have I'm not monetized what can I do to me?? Man I love this song look what that b**** has been doing to me LOL

You look and sound natural. Like you're in you natural environment. The rest of the guys are not lost in the music... or consumed by it.... If that makes sense to you. They look uncomfortable like they are at a rehearsal or something. Not knocking them. I'm sure they're excellent musicians. It just makes a difference when you're inside the magic and letting the music be what it is. Anyway.....
