Thing is, the vans themselves are cool. The era is not bad. It’s just this video might as will be a blank screen. I watch this video probably a dozen times, at the time I had no TV and it was the only video we had so we were just put it on, so there was something on. I still couldn’t tell you much about the movie though. That’s how it makes you feel, just completely blank. It’s not even funny for being low budget and cheesy. Instead of popcorn, I think for a snack you should eat some styrofoam. It’s not funny, it’s not edgy, no riveting story, the music is awful, etc. It’s the weirdest thing. I’ve never seen anything like it. You can watch the whole movie and it’s like staring at a chalkboard.

20 years ago, I had a roommate, and we didn’t have any cable, so we didn’t have any TV at all. I had this video though. Used to play it all the time. It’s one of the cheesiest, but not even in a funny way or anything. The movie just is. Is what? Is nothing. Describing this movie is like trying to describe the flavor of styrofoam. The weird thing about it though is Danny DeVito is in it! The music is milquetoast, the cinematography is bad and cheap, but it’s better than a blank screen!

way better than animal house! gumbroski has drawn mud🤣🤣🤣 saw this movie for the first time in 1984, i was 10 years old, always been a favorite of mine, when we were allowed to have personalised licence plates(Québec) i went for it right away but they did not let me have “HEY 4Q2” but managed to get “4Q2” wich makes some people laugh and other(french) when they ask what it mean, i explain it to them and they usually get a good laugh🤣🤣🤣 the movie is available on youtube, i bought it!👍🏻🤪

I saw this movie as a kid,but I forgot the name of it till now.its been over 40 yrs since I saw it,and it really tugged at the heart to finally see the classic again.I still like it a little more than animal house,but that's just my opinion.😊

Fun Fact: A guy I've been close friends with for over 40 years (we met on our first day of Kindergarten way back in 1980 lol), I was actually the one who discovered the masterpiece that is King Frat at the age of 11 and immediately introduced it to my closest circle of my friends, messaged me 2 minutes before this video popped up in my KZbin feed (I've watched it numerous times but not in a long minute) with "Smells like it's got turds in it." out of the blue. To which I promptly responded with "You know that asshole Fred? He couldn't drink a banana daiquiri before I showed him the trick." lmao We've done this since we were kids with various pop culture related material that we enjoy (Frat, MAD Magazine, whatever gives us a chuckle) 😊
