Love this movie so much!! dream big, never stop.. and bring on more chicks skating! I am an ozzie girl, from a tiny country town. I just started skating @ 41, it just began calling me, first quietly, then progressively getting louder and louder... im still terrible, but it has gotten in my blood and Im going to keep going... i love that skateboarding doesnt segregate due to skin colour, race, disability.... we are all one @ our core.. hearts out to those in war torn countries whose ability to skate freely has been taken from them. maybe skateboarding can help bring peace too! side note, i dont care what i look like i WILL be wearing a helmet lol

I was wondering when I would see someone surfing these spots. I surfed those first two spots many many moons ago. Did they hassle you about driving onto the native land where they have their gun range (Amaknak gun club)? I’m really surprised you didn’t get a shot of the shipwrecked Fish processing ship, but maybe you were trying to keep things secretive. Ha ha ha I wouldn’t worry about that. Place is never going to be crowded. You didn’t need a boat to get to the first spot. You can actually drive over the top of the pass by pyramid lake (overland rd) and come down into Summers Lake and then walk out to the point from there, either that or drive from the Harbor up past the dump (Summers bay rd.) to Summers lake and do the same. There’s actually old military trails that you can get almost to that point but you have to swim across that river. That’s funny you got the boar tide while you’re waiting as well. I did that back in 99 when no one had done it and I didn’t even have a wetsuit. Great to see people finally getting to those spots out in Unalaska. That right hander passed Summers Bay was so incredible. I used to go out there every day after work and feed the wild horses and surf by myself. The one right hander just passed the airport down by the shooting range is a super fun right but it’s way more fickle but when it was on it was sweet because it was right near my work camp (west construction, next to the grad allutiean) Never even got anyone to go down there and take pictures, of course this was back in the days before Internet, cell phones, or even digital cameras. Ha ha ha. Stoked for you boys, really brought back some sweet memories Of Incredible surfing experiences I was blessed with. 🤙🏾

Dang I just realized that was over a quarter century ago and I’m a rambling old man watching kids do what I once did. I have this overwhelming feeling of expedition nostalgia right now. Thanks so much for posting this. ❤🤙🏾 If I get a few comments of people wanting to see my old VHS videos of the boar tide and pioneering other surf spots I’ll try to get them converted and put on my channel. Until then, tight lines and hollow barrels.

The only downside to this movie is that all of the beginning is clearly in California,. Then they talk about heading from the Midwest to Tampa-Am Florida

Hey all you DMSR groms! Remember when Tony Hawks parents invetend a skater competition for all of us to compete and show off and then his mom decided Tony won? Yeah, me too. Good times. BTW, it was me and Dave Kersle who got kicked out for flipping her off at like the seventh time in a row Tony won. Laters.

A great watch. I'm an old skool skater myself, and knew most of the things mentioned but still a great watch. I felt particularly bad for Rodney. His home life as a kid sounds TOO intense. He's clearly intelligent, perhaps genius level? But he seems very sensitive, even now talking about it almost had him in tears. There will only ever be one Bones Brigade. Genius name coined by Stecyk.

This never gets old. Even after all these years. That moment where he talks about his mom being worried about him... Then he just sends one of the biggest gaps... Just so insanely good.
