Usually I just chap the door and politely ask. Probably not the best time to be doing that just now with Covid. Down the line though, once things get better, that is always my preferred approach. Good luck mate 👍

Double your finds if you slow down your walking and swinging detector far to fast mate it's not a race your in YOUR MISSING HALF THE GROUND AND THE GOODIES, Wire fence don't step on it [ Code Of Conduct Respect Farmers Property ] Find a gate or step over it [ with caution ] Please accept the above advice in good faith from one detectorist to another Happy Hunting .

Usually I would approach farmers and ask them face to face. This could be difficult with social distancing so you could always write to them or send over an email. I've had a bit of success that way as well. Good luck!

500th subscriber! 🥳 Second video in and can honestly say great content sir. I'm from scotland also, live in the highlands and detect with a garrett ace 400i also. Still new to the hobby being a year in so love seeing videos like this, especially in scotland with the same machine I'm using! Have you got a facebook or Instagram for your detecting I can follow? That's hasn't got anything to do with metal detecting but see if you run your fingernails on a bar of soap and get soap clogged under your nails before you start digging it helps when it comes to getting the dirt out. Wee gardening tip 👍

I look for areas with a lot of history and luckily the farmers are happy to let me detect! I've been very lucky with my land :)

You're best just to ask farmers. Not sure who John Sinclair is but if he has a farm then there is no harm in asking! :)

at 550 you should have detected a long the wall ,some nice pocket spills cane be found try it, or along the edge of a farm field you get items that have come from they middle of the field over the years you never no good luck gold is coming your way good vids liverpool
