no I totally agree about the hammer the hammer was in desperate need of an evolution come MHGU and they provided it with the 6 different playstyles, then world undid it all and went back to basic ass hammer like, world had some stuff like the spinny move but like hammer needed playstyle changes, not new moves and I think rise succeeded at that really well with courage hammer based on GU's valor hammer I think wilds could have kept the repeated charge playstyle without removing the normal playstyle and they just.... went back to the old style :/ felt underwhelming

I have hundreds of hours on the saga and I’ll say it: no, you won’t play a male hunter now that you “can have better armors” besides the gender of the hunter. A hunter with skirt looks stupid as fuck. Nobody ever complained about it, and obviously they added this just to look inclusive, to attract controversy and the woke’s attention. 99% of hunters will still be creepy and take tiny skirts to hunt with their huntress. I’m sorry I lost that MH reunion, I find using a girl as a man creepy. What I just don’t like is the possibility that we don’t get, at least, 2 or even three armor designs per monster. As we have been having in the last games. And I’m not talking about 2-3 armors counting male and female. In this case, it will have to be 4 designs per monster: one for low rank and one for high rank for each gender. Or for high and master rank. This all was obviously a woke marketing move and I just hope this doesn’t affect our armor variety, if it does, the joke is on you guys

i wish the devs gave all weapons their own keybind slot,seikret allowing you to duplicate buttons for each weapon, ive noticed world,wilds not having this. i tried keybinding db and insect glaive and trying to keybind them was hell.. i dont use controllers due to getting sick from the movement,looking around,etc its like trying vr for the first time, moving around. idk why the devs didnt make seikret use WSAD - w forward s stop, whatever your sprint button is.. cant even keybind it to wsad because its your non mounted keybinds.. like this is what im getting at.

If the next MH game features a gay couple, my first reaction would be "A romance in MH?". Then I would ask myslef if they're, at the very least, correct characters or if they're romance is believable. If yes, fair enough, I'll go hunting. If no, I'll get over it then go hunting.

Yeah I think that they should address this by just making all the weapons Longsword tier in terms of the bonuses they get from Wounds. Meaning that the benefit you get from breaking a wound should basically just be a shortcut to something you can already do on your own relatively easily. Insect Glaive should definitely go back to getting their full moveset after just getting red buff. Red is usually pretty easy cause it's almost always the monster's head and with it only being 1 buff that you need you can get your full moveset quick and then get the rest over time while you fight. That way getting all 3 buffs from a wound break feels more like a reward than a requirement. With Charge Blade, we do already have the ability to Guard Point into Savage Axe, which is nice, but as you said during multiplayer it can be annoying if the monster isn't focusing on you. Honesty I think that they could just bring back the ability to trigger Savage Axe as a cancel out of an AED like it was in World. Maybe make it so that you have to charge up your shield first to trigger it so that there's at least some prereq but yeah. The only issue with this is that the way that worked in World was that you would cancel out of it with the Left Trigger, which is now the Focus mode button and how you aim your moves during those big attacks like AED, so it would need another input. I'm sure it could be worked out somehow but it's worth pointing out that it would have to work differently in some way to implement this. Especially since we already have a different way of cancelling out that move into a shield charge so our options for buttons to bind this too are becoming increasingly limited. Like I guess you could bind it to the dodge button since you can't cancel it into a dodge but that would feel kinda weird imo

Ahh yes the game where you can use a monsters head as a weapon, a chicken leg as a weapon, and several other goofy weapons. Being able to wear animal heads as armor and turn yourself into streefighter and resident evil characters is so serious that being able to wear female armor as a male because hehe funny (this is what i feel like most cases would be) is so outlandish and absurd. My buddy wears the aptinoth head the buff body and the astral belt (has a glowing star skirt) and makes the color bright neon pepto bismol pink. This is a feature meant for people who think its cool. Dont like it dont use it. People complaining probably barely online with other people so who gives a fuck

Hey, I use M+KB for both rise and world Also to preface the wall of text I mostly use HBG for mouse and key board idk about blade master stuff since I use controller for that Uhh the guy was right about the controls changing, it's changed in every game that's had M+KB support, IMO it wasn't a huge deal in wilds the changes made sense like reload going from mouse 4 to R (hard habbit to break) but I'm pretty sure that was because of the new manual blocking feature for HBG and some of the new firing types going to those buttons (I think block is on mouse 4) But like you could also change them in the settings I didn't bother because the changes were logical and the only annoyance I had was with my muscle memory

I’ve always been a sucker for summoning salt and speed runs, so I love to see this kind of video and format. It would be awesome to have something like this for worlds going through the years over top records to see the difference in tech and weapons on top- but I know that’s a huge undertaking. Great job to all the runners mentioned. The times are crazy for the small window to create strats. Great video- one of your best ones yet!
