Fabulous playing but that ludicrously expensive Gibson is too bright. Piercingly so. I couldn't listen to that for long. Give me a smaller bodied hog any day.

A Les Paul that sounds like a strat... the P90 version. Nice demo playing as always... but I think a LP should have humbuckers (of either kind) on it.

I would like to set my system up so that I have the guitar going through an EQ into the HX. The signal then immediately goes out and in the effects loop going through some external overdrives and preamps that are MIDI controlled. Then it goes through the onboard effects and then the wet signal goes to the stereo outputs to a left and right Boss Katana 100 Mk2 head and 212 cabinet. I would like to take the dry signal from the preamps and route it from the HX to a center amp which is a Marshall JCM800. Is there a way to set up the second effects loop so it sends that dry signal out but doesn't interrupt the entire signal chain if there is nothing coming into the return?

Vigier Guitars and Basses (Roger Glover plays the Vigier Excess model sience the early 90ies) are exceptional instruments. Not copys of LP or Strats but something completely different in terms of construction, choice of wood and especially how they feel. They are, IMHO, the most easy to play guitars. Maybe that's a reason why guitarists like Gary Moore, Guthrie Govan, Shawn Lane, Christoph Godin, Ron Thal and many others play them. They are worth every penny I paid for. This are absolutely flawless high-end instruments with great attention to detail. Compared to Fender or Gibson Customshop they are "low cost" P.S. I heard several times that Patrice copied his headstock from PRS but Vigier designed this shape way before Paul did on his models. Keep Rocking and have fun 🤟, no matter on which model or brand 😉❤

i bought the blue one, if you buy one you gotta do the following,replaced pickups with seymour duncan jb and jazz chrome,get kluson revolution tuners, and shunt the coil tap capacitor to ground,straplocks then my friends you got yourself a freakin goot axe.

That guitar is ugly. That ridiculous headstock... and three bolt neck! Nice of you to demo it... but I don't think that is a very good strat at all.
@N7_2DC2 күн бұрын
I love the color of that guitar. Wish a real strat came in that color. P90s on a Strat? I guess it is a gimmick that will sell a few, but there is nothing wrong with the great ol sound of single-coil strat pickups. I'll take my P90s served up on a LP, like they were meant to be.

This is one of the best dragons ever made. This and the Dragon 1 are the legend Dragons. Look at that inlay, even more pieces than the 40th anny, more detail than any before or after it…this is the one 👌✨

wa da fuck !!! Nah. Way too much rasp and treble. Have a dead fish sandwich and stop playing with your peepee. Playing the right strums on the wrong guitars ain't gonna get anyone a hardon. Pete's textures are far beyond a fingers on the blackboard.

I don’t get it…why not go all out? It’s just a basic looking PRS with the fancy dragon inlays. No one is going to be playing this guitar, either.
@radicalagnostic3 күн бұрын
it would be absolutely tasteless to “go all out.” the emphasis is clearly on the inlay work. doing the entire body would just be gaudy and ridiculous
@brandonbryson33173 күн бұрын
@ I mean it’s already gaudy and ridiculous imo. So for that price, yeah, I’d rather them go all out. It’s just going to be hanging on display or in a case 99.9% of its life.

The bridge pickups on Gibsons are closer to the saddles / bridge than most brands including the PRS. That distance at bridge makes a bigger impact on tone. Picking at the bridge and moving just a few mm you can hear the difference. A neck pickup on a 22 vs 24 fret guitar makes a difference, but that same distance at the bridge is even for impactful.
