Mine is my favorite guitar I've ever owned, and I've maybe 20 other Suhrs. It's absolutely golden. The ONE thing I'd complain about is that the 2 and 4 positions are weaker than I come to expect from split positions.

Anderson or Suhr. I've battled this for years. Have no way of trying either where I live. I've ordered an Anderson and "patiently" waiting. I've always wanted an Anderson so of the two, it was my choice. But Suhr makes some nice stuff too.

If ever I was to make a custom order, any brand, I would ask for a slightly shorter scale strat. Ideally a little more than a Gibson. So, maybe 25"?... Just enough to approach that Gibson special playability, lower action, etc... Why do brands ALWAYS stick to the same scale even in their own catalog?... Anyway. Suhr guitars must be great! I like the P. Thorn and the Standard + Cheers guys

I fully agree with you. Decades later and guitar brands still stick to their old ways. Never innovate and rethink things through. A shorter scale absolutely is more comfortable for many of us. A 25 inch neck would be ideal with medium jumbo frets. Not only for 6-strings but for 7-strings a 25 inch neck would be a better choice.
