Hi Anne, You didn't mention what brand/model machine you own but check the manufacturer's website to see if they have a hemming guide for coverstitching. If not, one of my favorite tools is Clover's Stitch 'n Stick guides. Here's a link to a video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aoaTZWOPp81oi6c. I've used them for years and they're great. They never leave any residue on the machine and you can wash them with soap & water and they're good as new. You can purchase them in many of the chain big box stores or at your local dealer. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

How does the range of width in a single Bernina belt loop binder work? is there an adjustable slide or simply using different width strips and no adjustment? I'm confused by the size range on each of the three belt loop binders. For a given binder, does the width of the finished belt loop depend upon the strip width used? or is the same width finished belt loop remain the same regardless of which unfinished width strip used (as long as that strip falls within the range designated for that binder)?

@GailPatriceDesign Thank you, I can't wait to get started. You are the serger guru, so much has changed since the 90's when I first got a Babylock serger, who knew you could alter the look of a flatlock stitch with ribbon, or pulling certain threads with a needle and thread to create a decorative stitch, or curving a chainstitch with 3 or 4 colored threads with beautiful results. I love the bright colors you use on pretty fabrics. It's inspiring. Or using a string of rhinestones to serge onto fabrics. Love it.
