I have used this fix before as to why I could not print in color, but had forgotten how simple is was. By removing your printer from the settings list and then adding the same printer back eliminated my problem. Easy to follow instructions and very simple to fix your problem.

My HP 8300 Series Printer prints colour but the colours are either faint or blurry, for instance red prints out as faint red. Should I also reinstall?

I just got a brand new HP Envy 6400e and am using it with an old Macbook Pro that has Catalina on it and HP Smart keeps telling me it can't download the app because it has to have MacOS 11 or higher and mine is a 10 point something.
