I'm pretty sure the failure of the Boeing starliner is related to DEI program. Is quite probably an internal investigation about the failures of the starliner systems found that some of those DEI members were responsible for the technical mishaps. If not then Why will Boeing get rid of that department now? Coincidence?...

Boeing's got enough problems and is trying to do some restructuring to enhance sagging profits. You probably did it a favor: streamlining by eliminating a dysfunctional DEI department can only reduce unnecessary overhead and help its bottom line.

I've done three papers on Boeing regarding their MAX issues. It is fascinating (in a depressing way) that DEI is a focus for BOEING considering how many issues they have just making safe aircraft.
