I'm was happy to watch your video because I have the same scooter. I use it on the west coast of Canada. I use it mainly around Vancouver but am planning a trip to Washington State. It helps to belong to a scooter club. I have seen areas around Vancouver that I had never been to before. I find that around town 150cc is just about the perfect size. Have taken it on highways but for short distances only. You end up travelling at max speed which on a long distance is tiring plus it feels like you're abusing your machine. It cruises nicely around 80-85km/h but above that you're pushing it. I'm hoping to see more trips on your channel. Hvar looked beautiful!

I also have a 200cc scooter ( 169 cc engine) and I go în long distance trips, exactly the same feelings as you. Not propelly good for autostrada, it goes max 100km/h and îs difficult to overtake big trucks. That is why I've decided to pass, hopefully next year, to 300cc. I noticed the loss of power when engine is hot to.... ( greetings frumos Romania ).

@@MrDonkov Thank you for reply. Where is one YT video with English young lady on old Vespa going from UK to China and back. Or folks pedaling across Canada on Brompton bicycles. But physics and geometry are not something to be agreed or not. Larger wheels are better for higher than 60kmh speed and handling potholes, especially on higher speed. Small wheels (Vespa's) are for faster acceleration and tight turns - urban environment. I went on Vespa 50cc for half-day ride around Belgium's Flanders rural areas and suspension was not able to keep up with not ideal roads, because tiny wheels were not able to roll through the potholes and so on. Even at 45kmp speed. Where I'm in Belgium we have several Vespa stores. So, it is popular. But I don't see Vespa riders on local highways as much as I see riders on another scooters, motocycles.

Nice review and to the point. The only problem I ever encountered with wood stoves is that once the pan is on it results in restricted air flow. This causes deposition of wood tar on the underside of the pot due to incomplete combustion. This then necessitates the need to carry another bag the put the pot in or all your kit will be black.

This hammock is a great idea! Would love to see a travel video with your 150cc scooter. I'm using my Piaggio Liberty everyday right now weather permitting. From Vancouver BC I have taken it into Washington state staying mostly on side roads. It's a great little machine but looking at the Vespa 300 now or the BV 400, It opens up more possibilities.

@@hlk5887 Thank you for the comment, wow, you drove all that way with Liberty 150cc? Congrats, sounds like an epic trip. Yes need to make another scooter travel video soon ;) I agree 300cc would be a better option. The 150cc is realistically good enough, but it sometimes lacks the power to overtake a slow vehicle, to make it quicker and safer.

In some cultures it is considered bad luck to give something sharp as a gift. The solution is to sell the recipient the knife. You give the knife and money together and then the lucky recipient “buys” the knife from the person giving the gift with the money.

This is a great saw. I've had one for years. As you said, it doesn't have a long blade, but on the other hand this means that it folds down to a very compact size. I carry one in my pocket all the time because it's so compact. Therefore I always have a saw with me. It's surprising how often I use it simply because I have it with me.

Opinel's N°08 Jardin (Garden) knife deserves mention as their best option for everyday carry, in my opinion. 1) Thinner handle for pocket carry, but still very hand filling. 2) Spearpoint blade shape (vs slight drop point on most), which allows easier use for draw cuts on surfaces, 3) intermediate in blade thickness between the N°07 and N°08. N°07: 1.46mm. N°08 Jardin: 1.62mm. N°08: 1.76mm. For visibility, I add lanyards I coil and knot from retroreflective paracord to all my smaller knives. As I'm a strong fan of headlamps for camping and emergency use, the lanyards stand out from grass even at night.
