I would just say that it wasn’t a lazy pass by curry that got intercepted. He does those kinds of passes a lot This time the defense was ready for it. More Mamba mentality: -curry told some of the Celtics players at the end of game 3, “enjoy y’all last win.” -curry points to his ring finger in the 3rd quarter of game 6!!! So glad the warriors won AND curry got the finals mvp.

Really good take on Steph. Game four in the 2022 finals I think was Steph’s most important game. Draymond was rattled. The Boston fans chose wrongly to insult Steph’s wife. And man did Steph make them pay. I take that one because it had the heroic ring of Odysseus cleaning out all the vermin in the NBA house. His play carried a good but far from great team to a Finals trophy. He put an end to the ridiculous narrative of talking heads on tv. ‘What they gonna say now’. His last two performances in the most important games of the Olympics showed the Legend of that Devil to the world . The NBA already knew. One of the greatest shooters in the game, Kevin Durant, deferred taking the shot twice to Steph Curry. It was a game that made that devil, Steph, a legend worldwide.

Stephen Curry this season was a different level of impressive. Klay Thompson coming back, curry dishing it to klay to remind him he trust him and elevate his confidence! Draymond Green IQ and defense at a consistent level! But bottom line! Stephen Curry was an absolute psycho in the finals and brought his team back!

I remember watching that game and kind of wondering what was going on. The clippers doubled Steph from nearly half court on and he was getting rid of the ball early, often to Draymond but also to others well. There would be another pass and then a shot. That’s why the point distribution was so unusual. Shaun was getting all those midrange jumpers, which is exactly his wheelhouse. I realized later this was a classic example of Steph’s “gravity”-drawing several defenders to him well outside the arc and giving his teammates a mismatch inside. Kerr, with Iguodala as on-court mastermind, had established such a great inside passing game. Nearly all of their field goals were assisted. Quick, short inside passing, a real thing of beauty. And just having Steph and Klay available for the outside jumpers made it all work. Despite what Barkley said, the Warriors were not really a “jump shooting” team. They worked the ball in and out, on the angles, to get shots they were confident in, no matter where they were. You never saw Shaun shoot from outside. You only saw Iguodala shoot from outside if he was wide open. Stuff like that. The great thing was when special moments came along, like this play, you had Steph to pull them off. Truly clutch, yet to him not clutch at all because he knew his game so well and had total confidence in it.

That shot against the baby blue, I feel like helped push Klay even further. Any basketball player on a team be motivated, but to see the things you saw in Steph. Talk about generational talent, but to already be a great shooter and to have a vibrant star right beside you.. Man. Splash bros. Like playground basketball all over again.

The thing is Demar learned his game from Wizards Jordan with the middy and the fadeaway and post up play. But Jordan was a different animal. Huge hands, cat quick, jump 4ft in the air with no run up, defensive monster and just a flat out bucket getter. First 3peat MJ was stratospheres above the other all time greats, it’s not fair to compare Demar to him

2022 seems to be the last year of Steph Curry’s legacy. When they won the championships before they had many excellent players on the team like KD, Klay, etc. but in 2022 he literally carried the whole team himself. I don’t think he has the stamina to do that again, and that’s because it’s a hard thing to do. Nothing in 2023. Nothing in 2024. I think he should go up to management and say he’s not worth the $30 million they’re paying him anymore.

Why does Curry have to always prove time after time that he is at the same level of Lebron in this era? They act like that 2016 series was with KD, get your facts right, it was a massacre when he actually had another super star for the next 2 and a half years. When your greatest opponent says No Lead Is Safe because of Curry and the fact that he doesn't need to prove to anyone but himself that he isn't a choker, sometimes changing the game is about leaving a legacy that you have never seen before.

This is still one of my favorites!! Another one was his double behind-the-back dribble that shook CP3 to the point where CP3 went stanky leg and almost completely fell to the ground - saving himself with his hand on the ground to stop the fall, then Steph fades away on the baseline. Another close one was the February 2016 game vs. OKC...from near halfcourt with a timeout remaining in OT, to win it. The shot that brought us KD, essentially.

That is one of the things that made him and Klay so entertaining: they were shooting it regardless of if there in a slump or not.

I was accustomed to the plodding style of most NBA teams, and the Warriors being perennial NBA doormats. Then in 2014 I got NBC Sports Bay Area in my cable package. As I stood in front of my TV watching the Warriors, my wife called me for dinner. I couldn't leave the TV screen; I was mesmerized. "These guys are exciting AF," I shouted. She came and watched, and we've been fans ever since.

Love the Steph content! not sure if you saw but I asked for more Steph content on your last video. Love to see it! gonna start sharing your videos on my social media, these are bangers and I've got a bunch of friends here in the Bay Area that are gonna love your vids. Thanks! In case you're looking for ideas, would love to see some rankings of his best shots, games, moments. the game 6 of the 2019 western conference semi finals is a criminally underrated game of his, as is game 5 of the 2015 finals. I don't see any other videos out there analyzing those games, could make for a great video. edit: Ok just saw your comment on my other comment. Thanks for listening! I was actually dealing with some depression today and watching this video really brought me out of it. Big dopamine dump. If you ever start a patreon I'll be the first to join!
