Hello, this is Douglas and I'm 58yrs.of age I recently loaded my wife Agnes who was 52 at time her death on April 21,2024 need help finding out how to receive Back Pay from SSDI have been receiving partial payments from VA disability of $560 per month and SSDI WAS PAYIING ADDITIONAL $400+ BUT I HAVE BEEN TOLD I WAS ENTITLED TO RECIEVE $1440 DOLLARS due to being Married instead of being paid as single person !Also need to know about my entitlements for my Wife's SSPAYMENTS FROM MY WIFE YEARS OF WORKING ? PLEASE HELP STRUGGLING AND THEY DIDNT HELP MUCH closed eyes and ears I know you understand !!!

Hi Carrie, we are newly retired and have a small social security budget . I am looking forward to container vegetable gardening on my deck and 2 raised beds in my daughter’s flower garden. We sold our house and built a small apartment attached to my daughter’s house. We are saving money by downsizing. We help my daughter by paying rent and cooking some meals for her while she works full time and is studying at home to earn her double masters degree in nursing and business administration. She pays for the groceries to cook the 2 meals each week for her and her husband and daughter. I look forward to the time spent with them at mealtime and visiting after . I feel very fortunate to have a nurse for a daughter.
