That orange is for ground purposes Microsoft just added a layer in top of normal pcb, if is fading I believe is not a issue at all, unless you were insert a mod chip or something extra which required ground

I know some people say it’s cuz the aftermarket fans but either way it’s also with the stock fan or just bad thermal paste

Mine still sounds like this even AFTER a breakdown cleaning and replacing the thermal paste. Only thing I haven't done was replace the fan itself.

My XBox sounded like a Harrier Jump Jet taking off. Switching itself off after about two minutes of gameplay. I followed your tutorial and found pretty much what your video said I would. My copper edges were all worn as well. Now it doesn't make any noise at all! So thanks! I did have some trouble with the hard drive screws as it dropped a few mm when I tried to reassemble. Also getting the final lid on took forever!

If you used a external hard drive you would get double that speed of transfer

I’ve been dealing with overheating issues for almost a year now, I’ve probably re-pasted 4-5 times, thermals pads twice, first time with Kritical 2.0mm pads but I think those ended up being too stiff so recently I got Arctic TP-3 1.5mm pads since that was the thickest they went and there were some spots that didn’t mate against the heatsink. Just installed thermal grizzly minus 8 2.0mm pads and I can tell they squish down much better and I used arctic silver 5 with the line method and it still sound like a jet engine and shuts down while playing MCC. Could I have done something wrong?

Guys, I just defeated the madam mirage and i felt pretty dumb about the easiest way to defeat her. Just focus your special attack to the ground instead of her frontside, so the ball bounces😂

Yeah that was not enough thermal paste... you gotta make sure it spreads all the wag or you will have problems later.

I sent my console to a guy to replace the thermal paste and clean he did the job the console was quite on most games for a week or two . Now it's gotten extremely loud what could be the issue. Please help

So i put a 7 inch mini LCD screen in my pc because i saw it on youtube, looked really cool. but once i got it installed and plugged into the HDMI windows defaults my desktop to the little screen and i cant use my big monitor...cant figure out how to tell windows that my big monitor is my MAIN monitor and the little 7 inch one is #2 it just refuses to work no matter what i try...anyone know what to do here? the only thing ive been able to do is "duplicate screens" which is useless because i need the 7 inch for displaying cpu/gpu temps ect ect. im 6 hrs of effort into it and nothing seems to work

Thanks for the great video, I had intermittent issues of my One X saying it had overheated after about 20 minutes of playtime and changing the thermal paste fixed it!

I did replace everything make sure you guys replace heat sink if still to loud that help on my case too and don’t forget thermal paste…

I'm so sick of the enemys in this game. I have the best armour I can find, I have fairly good weapons but 2 shot every god damn time with 18 goddamn hearts. THIS IS BROKEN SHIT. I put in the time to get stronger but I am no stronger than at the start? This is BS.
