Yeah it might just be the Xbox series X - Microsoft update servers are busy because it’s Christmas Day and everyone will be doing the same.

What my series x is doing is we tried doing the hard reboot where you delete everything still didn't work and the first update is taking sooo long and its not my Wi-Fi my download speed is 76mbps according to my xbox one. Can someone tell me what to do its like 1 percent per hour on the update lmao

Have you tried first logging into your Xbox account on a normal PC first to check its working OK

Wow what a crummy experience after spending $500 to get the latest console that should have been ready to go out of the box. This shouldn't be such brain damage..press the on button and have to literally reformat a computer. It's clear Microsoft did not have each system uniform/consistent and ready..seems their processes/programming of them changed through various stages of production I guess? Curious to see your feedback on the disk drive and if you're getting any issues other folks are reporting? I hope they iron these out over the next few months and then I will pull the trigger whenever Cyberpunk comes out or a bundle is offered.

Hey - Yep I definitely agree Eddie, I said I would leave this console cycle until the second release, but couldn’t resist. And it looks like they still need to iron out some of there quality control and software checks.

Yeah I know right - I don’t know why Microsoft / Xbox have used batteries again for the Xbox series x - that’s one of the reasons I use the play and charge battery pack so i can just plug in and charge.
