I live in Gloucester and as far as I can remember we have never had such an angry extremely active storm last for hours with continuous lightning and rolls of thunder I loved every minute of it of it.

We never get this in Bristol or it's surrounds. Last one we had, that wasn't a damp squib was 2017. Now they just seem to miss the area. Mega light show.

That is a true Supercell and i think we're going to get more of them in the future. I'm sure i've seen a Supercell up here near Nottingham as i saw a funnel cloud and it was turning.

And of course all of them went too far north of me. Therefore I only got to experience 2 thunderstorms this season. Compared to the 2022 season the 2024 season was RUBBISH

Don't forgot the North. Cumbria, Lancashire, Yorkshire, County Durham and Tyne Side. They are areas where F4 and F5 Tornados landed in the 1700s to 1800s with Northern Ireland. Scotland and The Highlands get snow tornados and parts of Merseyside get water spouts over the M53.

The day after this i was in Birmingham and there was huge hailstones followed by close lightning. Trains got disrupted and on the way back to Sheffield i saw an epic lightning show.

Great video love the way you slow it down so we can see the lightning bolts as they happen so quickly. I'm now convinced that there are certain areas in the UK that seem to get more thunderstorms than others. We very rarely get them here in Redditch Worcestershire possibly because we're in a dip a geographical quirk maybe but the South East seem to get quite a lot of storms as does Birmingham and the West Midlands, storms seem to skirt round us here so I have to get my lightning fix watching lightning videos on KZbin. Thank you for sharing this video, looking forward to part 2 now 👍
