Love when quilters share their thought processes with us. Helps slow down my mind a bit. Very colorful and happy border!

Thanks! I love sharing my thought processes too - it's never a straightforward path from my initial thoughts to what I end up making :-)

Sharing my thought process is always more fun to me than a traditional tutorial - I want other quilters to get brave enough to try making their own designs, and not just stick to the pattern as written.

You are an excellent teacher my quilting friend! I like your second version that is in the pattern. I'm almost done finishing up my 3 blocks. I will be working on my video for centre #3 this week ( now that our camping trip is done ) so that I am upload-ready for the 21st!

If you have a problem with that, then yes, this probably isn't the right channel for you - I'm a trans nonbinary person, so there's probably a lot about me you won't like. But no hard feelings - I hope you find something to watch that better suits you.

Love seeing your trip. I used to work in DC and we lived in nearby Alexandria VA. In fact DC is where my hubby and I met. It’s hard to choose just one Smithsonian isn’t it? But I think you made a good choice. You can easily spend a whole week if not a couple of weeks there. 👍🏻❤️

The Smithsonians are so amazing! I'd love to visit DC for long enough to see them all properly, but yes, I think that would need weeks.

I'm a U.S. Army Veteran (1966-1969). I have never been to Washington, D.C. However, I have lived in Yakima, Washington. It is amazing how many adults think Washington D.C. and Washington State are in the same place. Washington State is beautiful, big, wonderful, and filled with many places to visit, to live, go to school, work, explore, and many other things to do. I'm sure Washington State is a much safer place to be than Washington D.C.

I've never been to Washington state, but it's on my list of places I'd like to visit one day - it sounds so beautiful! I learnt about the difference between Washington DC and Washington state when I was in high school, and we had an exchange student in our class from the USA. She came from Washington state, and spent a lot of time correcting people who thought she was from DC!
