There is/ was a tourist boat taking trips upstream. Highlight of the trip was seeing some dumbass fisherman standing hip deep in the river with a croc not 50 metres away. When alerted, you'd swear he walked on water. Never gave it a thought?

Excellent video mate. How did you connect the power? Did you go direct from your aux AGM battery?, or did you run it from your fuse panel?
@4wdNTAustralia

It’s was with 100amp AGM . Now I got a 200amp lithium battery mate . When I was running with AGM, I always keep the engine running.

@@4wdNTAustralia Nice one.... that 200AH Lithium will be amazing.... Sorry, what I was wanting to know, was whether you wired the compressor direct to the battery, or if you ran it from a feed in your fuse block? I'm looking to do something similar, and am wanting to know if I should wire the heavy duty cable direct to the battery, or if my fuse panel will handle 50Amps. If I go via the fuse panel, then my shunt will be able to monitor the usage, but if I go direct to the battery, then it would bypass everything. So, in a nutshell, I'm wondering if I could power 50Amps via the fuse panel (and if that's what you did) ... Hope that makes sense :)
@4wdNTAustralia
@4wdNTAustralia Жыл бұрын
I connected to battery directly. Do you have your shut close to the battery or away from battery.? If shut close to the battery you can still connect the negative wire to shunt

Nice video, just a few question in regards what size relay did you use? I though this unit was only meant to be for a single head compressor? Would the wiring be enough to handle the power? Im only using the single cylinder compressor from dune 4wd aswell but im interested to see how you manage to use it in your compressor and if it does not overheat wiring.and what size fuse for wiring. Regards
