Good video. Our little training group shoots this qualifier about every 8-10 weeks just to see if we are getting better or worse. Two in the group have made master, four of us are at expert. The best score I have had is a 20.75 but the next time we shot it that increased to mid 20’s.

Yeah, recoil, felt recoil, power factor all that’s great. But here’s the thing: what about how your ammo groups? I mean, if your rounds feel like a gentle hug but scatter all over the target like you’re shooting buckshot at 10 yards, is that really the ammo you want in a match? These are the kind of existential crises that keep me up at night.

You are correct it is! Now i need to find a recipe that will work in my P2000 close to that!

105 is really low. I tried to get a load prepared for a Sig 320 Compact in CCP. I couldn't get the PF below 115 before I got malfunctions. I probably could have gone lower with a lighter spring but it didn't really seem worth it. Even 115 is very light.

I am a new competitor (IDPA) who has only shot two matches. I have improved considerably in that time. I enjoy and value your videos along with others that have helped me improve. I look forward to competing in regionals next year in my area. Question. I have been told by my local club that compensators can only be used if “integral” to the pistol. So, no thread on. Which is what the rule book says according to how I read it. Recently I was watching a competitor’s video from nationals at CMP. He was using a threaded attached comp. Are comps allowed or not?

So if one "random" target is holding a baby hostage, would it be legal to designate as the 2B1H target? Seems pretty intuitive that the guy threatening my baby gets the extra round.

@@thebrassbrigade5963 Tough one. The SO’s are purely evidence based decision makers and a target with one hole is difficult to overrule. However, multiple witnesses can be a compelling argument. Your case should have been challenged and sent up the SO rankings due to touching a target is just as illegal and may get someone DQ. My call? Multiple witnesses would have earned my consideration and changes in the way we score the stage.
