I like how he's completely blunt!! Cause that's exactly how I am. And they questioned him about not growing up. Thats me too! I am 58, but I swear I still feel like Im 25-35 in my mind.

One of my favourite bands. There's so much in their discography. Loved Kurt Winter's guitar sounds. I don't think they even got to "Hang On To Your Life" and "Heartbroken Bopper" which Winter co-wrote with Burton Cummings as well. Two more of my favourite Guess Who songs. But from their inception, this was a special band that delivered monster results and sounds. Long live the Guess Who!

Is this the show that Nash the Slash opened and was pelted with golf balls until he threw his violin down, left the stage and Kim came out and declared “only in Oshawa!”? Civic auditorium? If so, I was there. Hahaha. Sorry for the edit. It is that show!!! Nash? Or is it the Slash also yelled “I’m on the warpath now, mother f$&ker!!” Then the final golf ball came in. Hahahaha. What a night.

I have to wonder, if an interview is on KZbin, is it really "rare"?
@Sue-id4ck5 ай бұрын
Well this is from 1980. 40 yrs ago. So yeah...no such thing as KZbin...or the internet for that matter. The interview being rare has nothing to do with when this vid was posted. You just really can't be that st

Few guitarists can construct a short yet skilled solo,time and again. Cummings would rarely allow Winter to show his real chops, but this didn't stop Winter's brilliant brief leads,.plus slide! e.g. Hand me down world(Winter's song) Rain dance(possibly best short lead) Star Baby(great slide). One more note,Kurt's acoustic play and humor will always be a major reason why Guess Who Rule 1971-1974!

Huge talent. i'm glad he made it to Canada , and had loving friends and a great band. Because the Cowsills in the US did not appreciate it, the gift that was Billy Cowsill. There would have been no family band without him .
