Burton is human just like the rest of us. He's no different. He is a legend of music. A gift from God. He's a genius, kind and humble gentleman. He's had his ups and downs of life's journey just like us. He was at a low point in his life in this interview. Yes, he didn't have a happy attitude at this time & we know he was under the influence of something. So what...He still answered questions with truth & intelligents. Burton just turned 75 yrs old. 👍🎂🎊 He's still touring and shares music & collections w/ his fans on Facebook. This interview was 1 yr before he met & married Cheryl. She helped him to get sober. She was the kind of "lady" he needed to share his life with. No longer lonely. I will always love and adore him. 🎹🎶❤️👍🇨🇦 He's my favorite music Man.

The cool thing about this music master is he is not scared to tell the truth. I do not see arrogance,I see brutall honesty ,which is rare in the rack and roll world. No wonder he has lasted over 50 years in the music business.

This is Loni (f).. Yes Burton is very honest. He is high. He is depressed in this interview. All at once..he lost his long time girlfriend & The Guess Who band that he had since he was a teenager! He grew up in Rock & Roll!!! So much he endured & still in the year 2020 he is humble. He has survived the test of time! He is a musical legend & a great human being🎹🎤🎼🎶

At 32 years of age talking about how fast life goes and that most of us make it to 75 or so.. i didnt' start feeling that until my 40's, but yeah it flies, each decade feels like a couple of years after 40. Now Burton is in his 70's..

This isn’t the upbeat Burton I’ve gotten to know from all the other recorded interviews I’ve seen him in. He’s a pessimistic downer here. But it goes to show you he’s a regular human being like the vast majority of the rest of us. He’s got his down times like we all do and has feelings that can get hurt (and apparently have at times). He’s a real person, not a machine. Gotta love the guy for being real and not some pretender like a lot of celebs are. Burton Cummings is a real person. He also happens to have the best singing voice on planet Earth!

Burton really had his troubles at this time. A broken relationship, making him change his appearance A sour attitude in general, and an interviewer that just came acroos too harsh, then too flirty. Love that he came out of it quickly, and stood tall.

LIFE is A TEAM SPORT !! " ..I love where I am at in my life at last, after almost taking my exit on 12/29/14 from a blood clot that caused a massive heart attack ( I was 51 on that cold December day !!....life is 4 sure way too short !!I had to have 2 stents put in me through my leg and they saved my life !! Here I am 3 years later feeling 30 again energy wise and my air, my voice is better then ever today at this age !! Truth be told !! GOD bless Burton !! * "Stand Tall " came out when I was 13 in 1976 and it helped me emotionally as my parents were going through a very ugly divorce !! MUSIC SAVED ME !!

I just seen Burton Cummings in concert and he seemed way way different than this fellow back when he was 32 years old.. humans do evolve and change and some more drastically than others.. what an interesting phenomena of how time and life influenced change us and how it affects us all differently and influences who we become

He was going through hard times during that stage of his life. For example CBS rejected his album Woman Love and it wasn't released anywhere except for Canada. Burton was working for 1,5 years on it. He thought he finally something he truly believes in and then he got rejection.
