I stumbled across “turtle dreams” one night when I was stoned as hell. Never would’ve thought I would enjoy stuff like this and actually love it. Her music just is like satisfying to my brain. I love all the weirdness about it lol.

It reminds me of lots of different birds' dances. It's wonderful! Playful, free, cheeky and funny! Gorgeousness

As a friend said of this music: "Lovely, fun, spiky, interesting, unexpected." Have loved the piano piece ("Paris" / "Danse") at 11:45 for decades and even transcribed it for my 10-string guitar. Wonderful to see it in its original (?) context. Thank you!

I’m sorry, I tried to understand this. Not sure what any of the vocalizations has to do with Turtle Dreams. Meredith Monk’s in particular seems like she was just singing random phrases off-key and making gibberish sounds
